Agent-based modeling/simulation is an emergent method of the research of social and financial structures. It offers a bottom-up experimental solution to be utilized to social sciences equivalent to economics, administration, sociology, and politics in addition to a few engineering fields facing social actions. This e-book contains chosen papers awarded on the 7th overseas Workshop on Agent-Based techniques in financial and Social complicated structures held in Osaka, Japan, in 2012.
At the workshop, 24 reviewed complete papers have been provided, and of these, 17 have been chosen to be incorporated during this quantity. The papers are divided into teams as "Fundamentals of Agent-Based Modeling" and "Applications of Agent-Based Modeling".

9. Moreover, in March’s model the source to improve the code is only provided by slow learning on the part of individuals who maintain diversity longer. As the individuals’ beliefs converge to the code, there is no source to improve the knowledge for both sides. In Fig. , the optimum value (accurately perceived the reality, m = 30). It means that the processes of learning and experimentation can be controlled. This idea is also confirmed by Fig. 4, as Aspiration-Based Learning to Balance Exploration and Exploitation.
Therefore, the aim of this study is to propose an ABS model that explains how an individual’s problem-solving method and the degree of satisfaction affect the productivity in his or her organization. By using this model, we clarify how the diversities may improve the productivity in an organization. The rest of this chapter is organized as follows: Sect. 2 explains our simulation model. Section 3 presents the computational experiments and results. Finally, Sect. 4 gives concluding remarks. 2 The Model In this section, we propose an ABS model that represents the influences of members with various problem-solving abilities and different levels of satisfaction with the organizational performance , based on the factors of the previous studies.
